Michelle's Protocol
My name is Michelle Toole, I run this site, (Home Remedies and Natural Cures.com) as well as Healthy Holistic Living.com and I have been dealing with a neurological disorder for the past 10 years. Needless to say that during my illness I have been down just about every medical and alternative route available to me with very mixed results. Currently I am lucky enough to be working with Dr. James Chappell, a board-certified chiropractic physician, traditional naturopathic physician, clinical nutritionist, and medical herbalist. He is well known for his work with chronic, severe and supposedly terminally-ill people. To date, he has advised over 10,000 patients one-on-one, and over 100,000 people in seminars throughout the country. Dr. Chappell has been formulating clinical grade nutraceuticals and botanicals for over 30 years. He was the first to create an organic, whole-plant, botanical formula to normalize glucose in Type 2 and Type 1 diabetes. Under different labels, this herbal compound is sold in the United States and other countries. As with most experiences on my difficult journey, I found Dr. Chappell by chance and am eternally grateful for his unlimited willingness to share his knowledge with me and to show such compassionate support and guidance to those of us in need. Below is my current protocol as of April 2, 2010: Supplements:
Diet: I am currently following step 3 in 'The Raw Food Detox Diet.' So my diet is roughly 85 -90% RAW. Surprisingly, this diet is quite easy to follow and very satisfying. Here is an example of my Daily Food Intake: Juice: 2 apples, 2 carrots, 6 pieces of Kale and 3 stocks of celery juiced fresh every morning Breakfast: Graze on Fruit - generally watermelon, banana, blueberry or whatever fruit we have in the house. Lately I have been making banana, strawberry and blueberry smoothies they are delicious! Lunch: Romaine Leaf Sandwich - tomatoes, shredded carrots, shredded beets, zucchini and red peppers. Snack: Dried Fruit and Nuts Dinner: One piece of cooked protein either shrimp, chicken or fish with homemade cole slaw, salad or vegetable. Snack: piece of 85% dark chocolate (very small) NOTE: My diet consists of absolutely NO processed foods, caffeine, tobacco or alcohol. 80% of all fruits and vegetables are organic and 100% of all meats are organic. My Weekly Routine: 2 Coffee Enemas each Week Dry Brushing Daily Lymph Drainage daily and one time each week professionally Fascia release work Daily Stretching
And yes, it feels like a full time job but this is what it takes to help your body heal. I can say that since beginning this protocol I have improved greatly. I have been able to decrease my medication dosage from 3 tablets daily to one and I expect to be down to one medication in the next couple of months. My energy has improved as well as the movement on the left side of my body which has been an issue for me all these years.
